Students who have earned a Bachelor of Sciences or Arts degree in chemistry, biology or related discipline or a Doctor of Pharmacy, Medicine or Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution are eligible to apply for admission to the MS/Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Admission to the graduate program in the College of Pharmacy will be based upon evaluation of the following:
- A completed University Graduate Application including the $40.00 application fee
- A completed College of Pharmacy Supplementary Graduate Program Application
- Transcripts from all institutions of higher education previously attended
- Evidence of high academic achievement, i.e., a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (B average)
- Three letters of recommendation from professors or other individuals capable of evaluating the potential of the student
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) general test.
Additional Requirements for International Applicants
- The Test of English as a Foreign Language is required of all applicants whose native language is other than English. The minimum score for admission is 250 on the computer based test (CBT) and 100 on the Internet Based Test (IBT). The test must be taken in the student's own country before admission is granted.
- All international students are required to carry student health insurance.
Application materials should be submitted by February 1 in order to receive full consideration for admittance for Fall quarter.
