Jill Martin Boone, Pharm.D., FASHP is currently Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, University of Cincinnati, with a focus on transplant outcomes research and a clinical practice in transplantation. She is also the Director of Transplant Outcomes at the University Hospital where she has had extensive involvement in the quality monitoring and improvement process, assessing resource utilization, and quality of life measurements. Martin has presented nationally and published in the areas of transplant economics and quality of life. Previous to her current position, she was a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the University of Cincinnati Hospital where she practiced in the areas of transplantation, pain management, and surgery for 15 years. She has also been active on many national, state, and local committees addressing pharmacy and outcomes issues. She was the 1999 recipient of the Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists Walter A. Frazier Award and is Immediate Past President of American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
