Kirby Road

Welcome to our latest Habitat Build. Over the past year Crossroads Church has partnered with Cincinnati Habitat to complete an extreme makeover on a house in Northside. The sponsors of the house are the Holzberger and Ward Familiy Foundations and the Xavier University HFH Chapter. The house, located at 4222 Kirby Rd., was built in the late 1880's for one of 2 sisters. The house next door is an exact copy ( at least for now ) of the house we will be remodeling (see pictures link).

The dedication of the Holzberger & Ward Foundations House for the Austino Lewis & Kama Quaye Family was held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at 4222 Kirby Avenue, Northside. Refreshments and a tour of the home followed the ceremony.

You will find the instructions for returning the forms on the application form. Once we have your application, we will add you to our database and send you weekly updates on our progress. Use the Forms link on the left menu to obtain the necessary forms. We must have your completed forms before you are allowed to work.

Everyone needs to read the Construction Safety Guide that is provided by Habitat. This guide discusses workplace safety. You may download copy to read from this site.

Each week, we will need everyone to schedule to work for one or more shifts on this project by sending an email to the address on the left. Due to the size of the house, we must restrict the number of workers on-site for any shift. Your registration, each week, will be confirmed in an email.
