The following summarizes the admission process and admission statistics for the University
of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy 2007 entering First Professional Year
Class. It is intended to be informative for applicants seeking to gain admission to the
professional program.
STATISTICS:
A total of 568 applications were received for the entering class with 134 (23.5%) applications
from students at the University of Cincinnati. The average PCAT composite for admitted
students was 78. The average GPA for the 96 entering students was 3.50 with a range of
3.00 to 4.00. Twenty-three of the admitted students (24%) previously earned baccalaureate
degrees and 12 earned Master's degrees. Fifty-five (57%) of the 96 admitted students are
