Program Requirements

MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences with emphasis in Drug Development and Graduate Certificates

Admission to the MS with drug development specialization (MSDD) program is considered for individuals holding post-baccalaureate degrees in pharmacy, nursing, medicine and other related biomedical sciences. Individuals with BS in biological sciences or with degrees in other areas such as business/ management and law with relevant experience and aspiring to strengthen their background  in the complexities of biopharmaceutical research and development may also be considered.

  • Overall GPA > 3.0
  • GRE Scores > 300 in Verbal + Quantitative and > 3.0 in Analytical*
  • Foreign students also need a TOEFL score > 90
  • Work/life experience is also considered

* GRE is not required for admission to the Graduate Certificate programs. Students who successfully complete one of the certificate programs are exempt from the GRE should they opt to continue toward the MS.

The program is offered on a part-time basis with courses scheduled during weekday evenings to accommodate working professionals.
