The University of Cincinnati and all regional campuses are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and the Pharmacy programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education.

Accreditation for Doctor of Pharmacy Programs

The Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at The University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the national agency responsible for accrediting professional pharmacy degree programs and continuing pharmacy education providers. The accreditation by ACPE for The University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy is in effect until June 30, 2030, which represents the maximum term of accreditation. Accreditation of Residency Programs

The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Programs and the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at The University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy have achieved accreditation by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). The PGY1 program, focusing on Community Care, is accredited jointly by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the American Pharmacists Association.
